General Ophthalmologist
We are hiring a board-certified or board-eligible general ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care at our established, independent private practice in Hanover, Pennsylvania. We recruit physicians nationally and support relocation.
The role
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and manage a full range of medical eye conditions
- Perform cataract surgery and in-office laser procedures
- Diagnose and manage glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmic technicians across the care team
Qualifications
- MD or DO with a completed ophthalmology residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
- Active or obtainable Pennsylvania medical license
- Cataract surgical experience (new graduates and experienced surgeons welcome)
Location & schedule
Full-time, on-site at our office at 250 Fame Ave, Suite 225, Hanover, PA 17331 — serving York & Adams County, PA and Carroll County, MD. We recruit nationally and support relocation for this role.
